Why Denver?



It’s been called “The Best Place to Live” by U.S. News & World Report, and with more than 4.8 million living in the Denver metro area, it seems the accolades may be true.
Located in the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, this city offers the both outdoor beauty and cultural convenience.
It is home to the most entrepreneurs and small businesses in the country, but barely more than 50 percent of the population identify with religion of any kind.
Only about 7 percent affiliate with Christianity.

Our Staff

Founding Pastor Cholo Khongrath  grew up in the Denver, CO area.  He moved to the Dallas, Texas where he met his wife Victoria.  

Together they worshiped at the Laotian Baptist church in Dallas.  It was through a worship service in this church, Cholo and Victoria heard God’s call to return to the Denver, Colorado area to reach out to the Laotian/multi-ethnic people in the name of Jesus Christ.  

The calling to plant a Lao church has been accepted and God has paved the way.  Each day we see the hand of God working in the hearts and minds of those in Colorado.

We believe…

God is the creator and ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three are one, co-equal in essence. (John 17:3, Rev. 4:11)

Salvation is God’s free gift to us. But, we must accept it. It is not earned or deserved. It is received by faith. Salvation comes only by trusting in Jesus Christ and nothing else. When we turn from our self-ruled life and receive Christ by FAITH, we are saved. Everlasting life begins the moment we receive Jesus Christ into our lives by faith. (Acts 4:12, Romans 6:5)

Denver is one of the few major cities that has a state capital in the center of influence in its state, 
and it’s the 15th largest city in the country.
